1. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By accessing and using the Terwase platform (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Terwase is an emotional wellness and professional companionship platform. We connect verified companions ("Terwase Partners") with individuals ("Clients") seeking safe, consent-first, strictly platonic companionship and emotional support through in-person sessions.
Terwase is NOT a dating or matrimonial service. All interactions are strictly platonic and maintain clear professional boundaries.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is NOT intended for use by persons under 18 years of age. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not use our services.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Terwase is a platform connecting independent Terwase Partners with Clients. Terwase does NOT own, employ or directly manage Terwase Partners. Each Terwase Partner is an independent service provider.
Any information shared between users is ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Always follow the Platform's Code of Conduct and safety guidelines.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from: creating multiple or fake accounts; bypassing Platform fees or payment systems; requesting or engaging in any non-platonic, illegal or inappropriate activity; harassment; discrimination; sharing harmful content; or any other activity that violates our Code of Conduct.
6. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment. The Platform charges a 7% service fee (+ GST) on each booking — one of the lowest in the industry. Terwase Partners receive 80% of the session amount, with 20% retained as Platform commission.
7. Billing and Refund Information
Refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund Policy. If a Terwase Partner cancels a confirmed booking, the Client receives a full refund to their Terwase wallet. Cancellations made by the Client more than 24 hours before the session are eligible for a 90% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. "Change of mind after purchase" is not a valid ground for refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
Terwase expressly disclaims any liability for the acts, omissions or conduct of any Terwase Partner or Client. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terwase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute between you and another user, or between you and Terwase, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
